2025 NFL free agency tracker: Rumors, trades, offseason updates, Aaron Rodgers among players available

  • Linebacker Tyrel Dodson is returning to the Dolphins, agreeing to a 2-year, $8.5 million deal, Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports.
  • Miami signed Dodson, 26, after the Seahawks waived him during their Week 10 bye, despite being the team’s leading tackler. In eight games with the Dolphins (starting three), the inside linebacker collected 36 tackles. He finished with 107 total between Seattle and Miami.
  • Dodson has played five NFL seasons altogether, his first four with the Bills. He signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M in 2019.
  • The Bills continue to boost their defensive line, reaching agreement on a one-year, $8.3 million contract with defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Incentives could increase the deal’s value up to $10 million.

The Chiefs also franchised OG Trey Smith in the hopes of a long-term deal. Smith has already signed his $23 million franchise tender.
