Tom Brady’s vision for the 2025 Raiders could potentially include DK Metcalf.
One day after the star Seahawks wide receiver requested a trade, ESPN reported Thursday that Las Vegas is among the organizations interested in Metcalf’s services and has spoken with the team — which boasts future Hall of Fame quarterback Brady as a minority owner — about a potential acquisition.
Seattle is seeking first- and third-round picks for the 27-year-old Metcalf, according to The Athletic.

Metcalf, a two-time Pro Bowler who has played his entire six-year career in Seattle, also wants a new deal in the $30 million per-season neighborhood.
He finished the 2024 season with 66 receptions for 992 yards and five touchdowns.
Should Las Vegas and Seattle reach a deal, it would be a Seahawks reunion for Metcalf and new Raiders coach Pete Carroll.
Carroll coached the Seahawks from 2010-23 before being hired by the Raiders in January, with the final five coming with Metcalf on the roster.

Despite Metcalf’s request, Seahawks general manager John Schneider painted the potential reality of the former second-round pick playing out the final season of his three-year, $72 million extension in Seattle.
“The thing to understand here is that our responsibility to [owner] Jody Allen, the 12s, first and foremost is doing what’s absolutely best for the organization, A, and then B, what’s best for the player,” Schneider said this week on Seattle Sports 710-AM, per ESPN.
“Hopefully both those things merge and it’s an ideal situation. Sometimes that happens, sometimes it doesn’t. Hopefully in this situation it does, and that would be great.”

Schneider added Metcalf “understands that we’re going to do what’s best for the organization, and that if things don’t fall the way he may want, that there’s a good chance he could end up being here.”
Schneider is hopeful the matter is resolved around the 2025 NFL Draft, which begins April 24.

The team shook up its roster Wednesday with the release of longtime wideout Tyler Lockett.
The Raiders have also prioritized re-tooling their offense following a paltry 4-13 campaign that featured a rotating door at the quarterback position between Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew.
They’ve explored options at the position and even set their sights on Matthew Stafford before he decided to return to the Rams last week.
Tight end Michael Mayer is also said to be on the trading block.
