The Arizona Wildcats locked up the No. 3 seed while the Arizona State Sun Devils were the No. 15 seed for the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri.
Arizona State, which was locked into the No. 15 spot since before its regular season finale, fell to No. 10 Kansas State 71-66 on Tuesday in a game it was in the whole way but never able to take control.
The Wildcats secured the double-bye for the top four teams in the conference standings, earning a spot straight to the quarterfinals and will play the No. 6 seed Kansas, which beat UCF on Wednesday night to advance.
The Jayhawks and Wildcats face off on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN. Kansas beat Arizona at home in the final game of the regular season, 83-76, last Saturday.
