Charlotte fire is responding to a two-alarm fire at 300 E Morehead St., the address of Morehead Tavern and Morehead Social.

This is a developing story, here’s everything we know.

The fire started just before 8am on Saturday, March 15, Charlotte Fire Department announced on X.

  • A second alarm was called shortly afterward.
  • East Morehead between Euclid Avenue and South Tryon Street are closed, according to our news partners at WBTV.
  • There are no details yet about how the fire started or if there are any injuries.
  • The fire will not delay the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival happening in Uptown today, according to a representative from Center City Partners.
