AUSTIN, Texas — AUSTIN – Some lucky person who bought a lottery ticket in San Antonio now has two million more reasons to be happy after winning big in the Powerball drawing from March 15.
The winning ticket was purchased at Quiktrip located at 848 Hot Wells Boulevard, in San Antonio and is worth a whopping $2 million dollars.
Their Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (12-28-33-36-54), but not the red Powerball number (5).
The Texas Lottery says that winning tickets must be claimed no later than 180 days after the draw date.
Drawings for The Texas Lottery are broadcast each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CT.
The next jackpot on Monday, March 17 will be worth an estimated $398 million.
