DL Naquan Jones leaves Arizona Cardinals to join L.A. Chargers

The Arizona Cardinals have now lost three defensive linemen in free agency. After Khyiris Tonga headed to the New England Patriots and Roy Lopez joined the Detroit Lions, Naquan Jones is on the move.

According to Mike McCartney, Jones has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Jones played in 12 games for the Cardinals last season and had a career-high three sacks to go along with 27 tackles, four tackles for loss, four quarterback hits and two tipped passes.

Jones first joined the Cardinals in November 2023 after he was cut by the Tennessee Titans. He started on the practice squad and played four games before spending the offseason and preseason with the team. He didn’t make the final roster, signed with the Miami Dolphins‘ practice squad and then was signed by the Cardinals before he played those 12 games.
