OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Another round of severe weather swept over the Omaha metro on Thursday afternoon.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for several counties, including Douglas in Nebraska and Pottawattamie in Iowa. Strong winds, heavy rain and hail were the main threats.
A flash flood warning was issued for Douglas County at 5:45 p.m. First Alert 6 reporters observed dangerous road conditions due to flooding on Saddle Creek Road. Several viewers have reported similar conditions across the city. Officials are urging an abundance of caution.
