Middleweight strikers Marco Tulio and Tresean Gore faced off earlier tonight (Sat. April 12, 2025) live on ESPN+ pay-per-view inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In an absolute scrap, Tulio finished Gore to secure his second consecutive UFC win.

The first round was an instant classic. Gore walked right to his opponent throwing heavy punches, and Tulio responded in kind! Both men showed off a nice diversity of strikes and were throwing with full power. Tulio separated himself with a knockdown midway through the first, though Gore worked back to his feet and kept throwing until the bell.

Sadly, his best work was behind him. Tulio pulled away further as the second wore on, really ripping into the body with spinning kicks and liver shots. Those body blows helped set up a high kick connection that nearly finished Gore. Instead, the gritty Ultimate Fighter veteran worked back up one last time, only for a right hand to send him crumbling back to the mat.

Tulio has now started his UFC career with two impressive stoppage victories. At 30 years of age, he looks to be a really dangerous up-and-comer, definitely one to keep an eye on moving forward. As for Gore, he drops to 2-3 in the Octagon overall.
