Looking for last-minute tickets to the Masters? Good luck.
The Masters is one of the most exclusive sporting events in the country, both for the players and the ones who want to come watch them. Golf’s first major is set among one of the most gorgeous backdrops you’ll ever see, and the folks who run Augusta National Golf Club are very particular about who gets to walk down Magnolia Lane and around Amen Corner.
If you’re in the market for tickets to see if Rory McIlroy can finally complete the career slam this weekend, you’ll have to go to secondary markets. But be warned: The Masters does not accept tickets sold by anyone but themselves. So you might be better off waiting till the 2026 Masters … if you’re lucky.

Here’s what you need to know about buying tickets to the Masters:
When is the Masters 2026?
The Masters takes place each year in the first full week of April. For 2026, that’s April 9-12. The Augusta National Women’s Amateur will finish the prior Saturday, April 4, with practice rounds set for April 6-7 and the Par 3 Contest on April 8.
Where can I buy tickets for Masters 2026?
There’s only one place to get official Masters tickets: through Augusta National Golf Club. The Masters does not accept any tickets acquired from secondhand markets. If you’re caught using an unofficial ticket to get in, you risk being kicked out of the event.

How can I apply for Masters tickets in 2026?
The Masters lottery for 2026 is open June 1-20. Those interested in entering must log onto or create an account at the Masters ticket website at that time. Once they’ve done that, potential patrons can choose their desired ticket package and wait for the Masters to send notifications to who has been awarded tickets.
