Kyle Monangai is headed to the Chicago Bears.
The former Don Bosco and Rutgers running back was selected by the Bears with the 233rd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Monangai, a Roseland native, started his high school career at Seton Hall Prep before transferring to Don Bosco after his sophomore year.

He was second-team All-North Jersey for his junior and senior year performances, and was an All-New Jersey honorable mention as a senior in Fall 2019.
Monangai picked Rutgers as his college destination after Greg Schiano’s hiring in 2020.
He grew into an All-Big Ten player, rushing for more than 1,200 yards in his junior and senior seasons. He was named second-team All-Big Ten as a junior in 2023 and first-team All-Big Ten as a senior last fall.
