- Marvel Rivals’ next update will add Loki and Storm cosmetics, along with new Twitch Drops for Adam Warlock.
- The March 13 update features fixes for terrain issues and bugs affecting players using AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation technology.
On March 11, Marvel Rivals developer NetEase Games released the Version 20250314 update notes ahead of the patch’s release on March 13. The upcoming Marvel Rivals update should fix lingering terrain issues, address some bugs with certain hero abilities, and include a new Twitch Drop for players to unlock.
The March 13 Marvel Rivals version update will go live exactly one week after the previous patch. In the March 6 Marvel Rivals update, NetEase Games released the Galacta Cosmic Adventure event, which will conclude on April 11 at 4:59 AM Eastern. The main cosmetic prize in the Galacta Cosmic Adventure event is a “Mrs. Barnes” skin for Black Widow. The patch also launched special Clone Rumble matches as a limited-time event, with upcoming windows from March 14 to 17 and March 21 to 24. The previous update also fixed some issues with some of Loki’s and Human Torch’s heroic abilities that prevented them from working correctly.
RelatedAlthough Black Widow is the least-picked character in Marvel Rivals, a strategy can quickly turn her into one of the deadliest assassins on the field.
However, Marvel Rivals players will not have to wait long for the next update. Along with bug fixes for heroes like The Thing and Namor, Marvel Rivals Version 20250314 will go live on Thursday, March 13, at 5:00 AM Eastern. NetEase Games confirmed that the patch will not require server downtime. Players must close the game to apply the new patch, though its file size was unknown at the time of writing. The main feature of the March 13 update will be new Twitch Drops for the strategist hero Adam Warlock.
The Twitch Drops will include the Adam Warlock – Will of Galacta spray, nameplate, and costume to give the Sovereign creation some blue and purple flair. Earning all three rewards requires four hours of watch time, and the campaign will run from March 13 to April 3, with a 10:00 PM Eastern start and end time on both dates.
Like previous Twitch Drop events for Marvel Rivals, interested players must connect their Twitch and game accounts before tuning into any participating streams with Drops enabled. Along with the Twitch Drops campaign, the March 13 patch will address an issue for PC players who utilize AMD’s FSR 3 Frame Generation technology, as a bug led to slow loading times. Several terrain issues that could cause clipping were also addressed, alongside fixes for heroes like Loki, Peni Parker, and Winter Soldier.
The new patch will also include Loki and Storm cosmetics, though further details remain elusive. As Marvel Rivals receives more updates, only time will tell when NetEase will announce more heroes for the main roster.

Maps and Modes

Heroes
1. Loki’s Deathly Illusions: Resolved an issue where Loki’s Ultimate Ability transformation could sometimes cause incorrect camera angles during Past Lives replays. The God of Mischief can now enjoy his dramatic exits without a hitch!
2. The Thing’s Battlefield Blues: Fixed a discrepancy in the speed of the Embattled Leap across different player views under poor network conditions. No more inconsistencies—Ben Grimm is back to leaping at normal speed!
3. Venom’s Aerial Anomaly: Addressed a bug where Venom could occasionally get stuck in mid-air after using his Ultimate Ability under poor network conditions. Now, he’ll burrow underground with style instead of hanging around like a confused symbiote!
4. Peni Parker’s Perdu Predicament: Fixed an issue where Peni’s Arachno-Mines would become invisible when brushing over Cyber-Webs but landing outside of them. Now, her traps beyond webs remain visible, ensuring enemies are aware of the sticky situation!
5. Peni’s Spiders Sneaky Escape: Resolved an issue where the self-destructing Spider-Drones from Peni Parker’s Bionic Spider-Nest would penetrate the floor to seek out foes when webs were present above and below. Now, these little guys know their place—no more sneaky escapes!
6. Spit vs Sea: Fixed a rare issue where if Namor unleashed his Ultimate Ability while still in the air after being spat out from Jeff the Land Shark’s Ultimate Ability, there was a small chance that it would do no damage.
7. Bucky’s Reload Rumble: Resolved a bug where the Winter Soldier’s Tainted Voltage automatic reload could fail to trigger after firing and immediately using his Trooper’s Fist ability. Bucky’s firepower is now as relentless as his mission for justice!
8. Hand Hook Confusion: Fixed an issue where if the Winter Soldier used Bionic Hook during the slow-motion match over moment, it could cause abnormal arm model display in the next round. Now, Bucky’s got his look—and his lethal arm—back on point!
9. Wolverine’s Claw Coordination: Resolved a rare discrepancy between his animation and effects when Wolverine executed the dive of his Ultimate Ability from the highest point. Now, when Logan strikes, it’s as precise and impactful as his adamantium claws!
