The Food and Drug Administration has increased the risk level of two coffee creamers recalled in late February.

Approximately 12,509 cases of the International Delight coffee creamer flavors Hazelnut and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll pulled from shelves by the manufacturers last month have been labeled a a class 2 health risk to consumers, which means that they carry a “remote” probability of serious health consequences, as defined by the FDA.

The creamers, of which there were an estimated 75,000 bottles or more, were originally recalled in 31 states including Texas, after reports of possible illness due to spoilage, according to the FDA’s report.

The manufacturer of the creamers, Danone US, LLC, issued a class 3 voluntary recall in February on a limited number of International Delight Coffee Creamers citing the lack of “quality standards” due to texture issues from premature spoiling and reporting that the recall was issued out of an “abundance of caution”, according to the original report by SpartanNash, which distributes the International Delight coffee creamers.

The FDA defines a class 3 recall as a situation where exposure to the affected product is “not likely” to cause “adverse health consequences”.

According to the FDA report, Danone had received reports of illness after the use of the creamers. In a class 2 recall, the product “may cause” either “temporary or medically reversible” health consequences but the chances of serious health effects are “remote”, according to the FDA’s rating guidelines
