ForbesToday’s ‘Wordle’ #1361 Hints, Clues And Answer For Tuesday, March 11thBy Erik KainMarch marches forth. First it was just that: March 4th. Then March 10th—aka MAR10 Day. Next week, we have St. Patrick’s Day so don’t forget to wear green! Today is Wordle Wednesday and we have a riddle to solve. Here’s today’s:
“Three leprechauns—Finn, Bran, and Conn—find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. They decide to divide it equally, but when they try, they discover one coin is left over.
They argue over who should get the extra coin. To settle it, they call a fourth leprechaun, Niall, to join them. Now, the coins divide perfectly, but still one coin remains.
Puzzled, they invite a fifth leprechaun, Eamon, and finally the coins divide evenly with none left over. What is the smallest possible number of gold coins that could have been in the pot?”
I’ll post the answer here in tomorrow’s Wordle Guide. In the meantime, feel free to DM me on Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky or Facebook if you fancy you’ve solved it already. Now let’s solve this Wordle!

Wordle Analysis
Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here.
BRACE wasn’t the worst or the best opener. I had one yellow ‘A’ and 231 words remaining, which I cut down to just 16 with HOIST. Alas, AFOUL only slashed that number to four but then I got lucky and guessed MANGO for the win! Huzzah!
Competitive Wordle Score

I wasn’t quite as lucky today as I was yesterday with my hole in two, but this is also a slightly harder word. The Wordle Bot got it in two yesterday also and we tied again today. At four guesses, that’s 0 for tries and zero for ties leaving both our monthly scores the same.
My March Running Total: 13 points.
Wordle Bot’s Running Total: 0 points.
How To Play Competitive Wordle

Today’s Wordle Etymology
The word “mango” comes from the Portuguese word manga, which was adopted from the Malayalam word maanga (മാങ്ങ), the name for the fruit in the Dravidian language spoken in Kerala, India. The Portuguese encountered the fruit during their trade in South India in the 15th–16th centuries and brought both the word and the fruit to Europe and other parts of the world.
