Where, when and how to watch the 2025 St. Louis Cardinals home opener

ST. LOUIS – We’ve finally made it to Opening Day in St. Louis! And we’re just hours away from a new St. Louis Cardinals season.

The Cardinals open their 2025 regular season with a home matchup Thursday at Busch Stadium against the Minnesota Twins.

If you can’t attend Opening Day at the ballpark, here’s what you need to know in order to watch.

  • Channel/Stream: FanDuel Sports Network Midwest or MLB.TV or Fubo TV
  • First pitch: Scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
  • Pregame coverage: Scheduled start of 1:30 p.m.

FanDuel Sports Network Midwest, the regional TV broadcast home of the Cardinals, will kick off the season with an extended pregame show that begins at 1:30 p.m. That will include some interviews to start, then later move into live coverage of pregame ceremonies at Busch Stadium.

MLB.TV can be used to broadcast the game if you don’t live in the St. Louis DMA. If you live in Missouri or Illinois, most likely, this will not be an option due to local blackout restrictions. MLB.TV has not announced potential plans for coverage of the pregame ceremonies.

Some subscription plans that include FanDuel Sports Network Midwest could also be available on Fubo TV.

Fans without access to either can also follow along with the game on local radio station 1120 KMOX.

If you’d like to see the home opener in-person, some tickets are still available. Tickets start at $84 before fees on the Cardinals’ website or $74 before fees on Ticketmaster.
