A Florida Lottery Mega Millions ticket sold in Jacksonville is worth $1 million from the Tuesday, March 25 drawing.
It was the second day in a row a ticket sold in Jacksonville won $1 million. In the March 24 drawing, a Powerball ticket matched five numbers to win $1 million.

A Mega Millions ticket sold in Illinois was the big winner of the night, winning the $344 million jackpot.

Mega Millions winning ticket sold in Jacksonville, Florida
The winning ticket was sold at Oak & Stockton Corner on Stockton Street in Jacksonville. The quick pick ticket is worth $1 million.

Florida Mega Millions winner never claimed $36 million jackpot
The last time a Florida ticket won the Mega Millions jackpot was Aug. 15, 2023. The ticket was sold at a Publix in Jacksonville and was worth $36 million.
The ticket expired and the jackpot was never claimed.

Winning numbers from the March 24 drawing were: 6-23-35-36-47, Powerball: 12, Power Play: 2
The winning Powerball ticket in the Monday, March 24, drawing was sold at the Publix on 1120 Bichara Blvd. in Lady Lake. It was a quick-pick ticket.
The second-tier prize is worth $1 million.

A “second-tier” win means the ticket holder matched five numbers in the Powerball drawing.
Publix sold 3 $1 million Powerball tickets in February
Publix sold three winning $1 million Powerball tickets in February:
- On Feb. 1, a $1 million ticket was sold at a Publix on Commercial Way in Spring Hill. Winning numbers were: 23-29-32-49-61, with a Powerball of 8 and PowerPlay of 2.
- On Feb. 19, a $1 million ticket was sold at a Publix on Port St. Lucie Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie. Winning numbers were: 6-21-28-49-60, with a Powerball of 20 and PowerPlay of 2.
- On Feb. 24, a $1 million ticket was sold at a Publix on Tamiami Trail East in Naples. Winning numbers were: 10-11-34-59-68, with a Powerball of 14 and PowerPlay of 3.
How long do you have to cash in a winning Florida Lottery ticket?
Prizes for Florida Lottery must be claimed within 180 days (six months) from the date of the drawing. To claim a single-payment cash option, a winner has within the first 60 days after the applicable draw date to claim it.
The Florida Lottery says its scratch-off tickets and Fast Play game prizes “must be claimed within 60 days of the official end-of-game date. Once the applicable time period has elapsed, the related Florida Lottery ticket will expire.”

- Prizes of $599 or less: Claim at any authorized Florida Lottery retailer or Florida Lottery district office.
- Prizes for $600 to $1 million: Must be claimed in person at any Florida Lottery district office for games that do not offer an annual payment option.
- Prizes greater than $1 million and all prizes with an annual payment option: Must be claimed at Florida Lottery headquarters, except Mega Millions and Powerball prizes, which can be claimed at any Florida Lottery district office.
You also can claim your winnings by mail if the prize is $250,000 or less. Mail your ticket to the Florida Lottery with the required documentation.
Can Florida lottery winners remain anonymous?
According to Florida Lottery’s website, winners cannot remain anonymous: “Florida law mandates that the Florida Lottery provide records containing information such as the winner’s name, city of residence; game won, date won, and amount won to any third party who requests the information.”
However, the site states, the “names of lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure for 90 days from the date the prize is claimed, unless otherwise waived by the winner.”
Lottery experts and lawyers have said there are ways to remain anonymous if you win.

- Powerball: 10:59 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
- Mega Millions: 11 p.m. Tuesday and Friday.
- Florida Lotto: 11:15 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
- Jackpot Triple Play: 11:15 p.m. Tuesday and Friday.
- Fantasy 5: Daily at 1:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m.
- Cash Pop: Daily at 8:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 2:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.
- Pick 2, 3, 4, 5: Daily at 1:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
