As WTA Indian Wells progresses into the Round of 16 and beyond, several matches on the card must stand out to bettors. The biggest match that screams opportunity is Elena Rybakina vs Mirra Andreeva. Coco Gauff vs Belinda Bencic and Liudmila Samsonova vs Jasmine Paolini are the other two that stand out to me for March 12. Without further ado, let’s jump right into Kane’s Best Bets for WTA Indian Wells on March 12, 2025.
Indian Wells Best Bets for March 12
Mirra Andreeva is absolutely on fire headed into the match with Elena Rybakina having won nine of her last ten matches, including victories over Rybakina and Iga Swiatek. While Rybakina has won her last two matches, her form isn’t as amazing but it is also nothing to sneeze at having won seven of her last ten. Rybakina’s only losses during this stretch are Belinda Bencic, Swiatek, and Andreeva. Whilst both have solid hard court records in ’25, Andreeva is in a slightly better position at 15/3 to Rybakina’s 15/5, so you might be thinking I’m going to suggest moneyline. Guess what? I’m not.
Mirra Andreeva is averaging 5.3 aces per match and FanDuel is offering over 2.5 aces for Andreeva at -146. While this isn’t the most profitable bet, given how well Andreeva is playing and her average aces are double what the line is offering, it seems rather foolish to pass up on the opportunity to cash in on something that seems like a given. All she needs to do to win is hit three aces and these two went three sets last time, but even if they don’t go three sets Andreeva is still 21-8 in her overall set record and she’s churning out those aces anyhow.
That being said, Andreeva hitting 2.5 aces in a match with Rybakina feels almost automatic
Value bet/best odds: Mirra Andreeva to hit 2.5 aces at -146 on FanDuel
Coco Gauff — Belinda Bencic (+106) 3.12.2025 20:00pm CET
H2H: 2-1
This one may surprise a lot of people, but the value is too good to pass up if you’re feeling froggy. Based on her play coming into today’s match with Belinda Bencic, Coco Gauff hasn’t been playing her best tennis. She’s lost three of her last five and did so in straight sets three matches in a row. Belinda Bencic is on a different kind of streak and she’s won nine of her last ten matches and four of her last five. Her only loss during this time came at the hands of Emma Navarro in Dubai.
While Gauff has won 75.5% of her games on serve, she’s only won 40.% on return as compared to Bencic who is sitting at 74% win rate on her serves and 47.1% in return games. Essentially, both players win about three-quarters of their games when serving, but Bencic is almost 10% better when returning and those are the type of things that cause an upset. Gauff is -130 to win the match outright, but we disagree. She’s simply not playing her best right now and these two tend to have three-set matches, with Bencic being the better return player.
That being said, Gauff feels ripe for an upset and at +106, Bencic has enormous potential for a quality payout
Value bet/best odds: Belinda Bencic to upset Coco Gauff at +106 on FanDuel
Liudmila Samsonova vs Jasmine Paolini(-.5) 3.13.2025 19:00pm CET
H2H: 3-0
Normally this is where I would provide you with another moneyline or games bet, but there was one other prop bet that stood out to me largely due to where the match itself sat moneyline. Paolini has struggled against Samsonova when she can’t serve. The only set she’s ever taken from Samsonova was WTA St. Petersburg, and Vekic enters this match having a set record 9-6 in 2025. Additionally, Paolini has only won 79-of-240 return games. Unless she’s serving, she seems to be unable to pull out the wins. FanDuel is offering +220 on Paolini not winning a set and it looks delicious to me considering her play coming in and her inability to win unless serving.
That being said, Jasmine Paolini isn’t playing her best stretch and Samsonova winning in straight sets seems very likely.
Value bet/best odds: Jasmine Paolini to not win at least one set at +220 on FanDuel
